Paramedics rewrite and sing famous song to brighten mood amid pandemic – VIDEO

“Don’t worry! We’ll defeat the virus together,” Hungarian paramedics sang in their own version of Bobby McFerrin’s hit, Don’t Worry Be Happy.

In the newest video uploaded to the Hungarian National Ambulance Service’s Facebook page, paramedics perform the famous song, but they rewrote the lyrics – in Hungarian – to encourage people to stay safe, stay home, and have hope for the future, reported Szeretlek Magyarorszag.

As we have reported before, paramedics have been quick to reciprocate the love they get in the form of hearts on windows and clapping each night at 8 pm. They have already performed a song with Hungarian singer Gabi Tóth and danced the Macarena to entertain people watching from their windows.

“The fellow community of the National Ambulance Service is made up of more than 8,400 dedicated professionals who set an example on the frontlines of the fight against the new coronavirus each day, both in terms of reliability and humanity. This time, these life-saving people have even sacrificed their day-off to encourage those who are in quarantine. They promise that when all this is over, a big party is coming. Well, we’ll be there,” they captioned the post.
